Wild Dining by the side of a beautiful Loch on the Balgone Estate will be a very special affair indeed!. Once you arrive you will be guided down a candlelit track to the Lake which is part of a conservation area, where the table will be set for a fun filled evening and a feast fit for a king!
History About The Estate
Since 1700, Balgone has been in the Grant-Suttie family, a wonderfully scenic agricultural estate run on an environmentally friendly basis. The generations have experienced many years of history. Our ancestors were mainly businessmen or military, sadly all that remains is the recently restored mansion house sold to the present owners as a ruin in the eighties and some fascinating books and photographs some of which you can find in the Granary bookcase. All the farmland historically has been tenanted out but in 1959 when my father inherited the estate times had changed, he arrived from Canada to find it badly run down and decided to take the farm back in hand. Gone were the days of the wealthy landowners and we have worked hard to build the estate into a thriving agricultural business, my father built the Granary to allow myself and my family to move into the nearby farmhouse.
We will also be screening a film under the stars, but i'm going to keep this a surprise until you arrive!
This event will be full of magic literally, and there will be the option to stay overnight at The Granary, a beautiful Farmhouse with an indoor swimming pool situated on the Balgone Estate and sleeps up to 10 people.
There will be a selection of Wild Wine & fizz to purchase.
(Wild Wine contains no additives whatsoever and tastes awesome)
If you wish to stay over night there will be an extra charge of £70pp.
An amazing organic breakfast will be served on Sunday morning before you take a dip in the pool, or go for a morning stroll around the estate.
Cost per person for the feast, film and magic will be £125
